September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month and teal is the color that is used to raise awareness about ovarian and gynecologic cancers. Turn The Towns Teal® is a national campaign founded in 2007 by ovarian cancer patient Gail MacNeil. The campaign seeks to raise awareness of the deadly disease, which affects 1 in 87 women annually.
